Mason Lost His First Tooth!

Today Mason lost his first tooth and he was so proud. I guess it makes him feel all grown up or something. The first one is always way cool. He is going into 1st grade, so it's about time.

A quick update of what's going on with us this week. I am heading to BYU-I Education Week with some co-workers of mine and will be gone Wed. - Sat. It should be lots of fun, spiritually uplifting, and a nice break! Ryan and Aaron are headed off to scout camp tomorrow also. We're all packing tonight. They are going to southern Utah for some fun adventures. Logan is heading down to Cortez, CO with his grandparents and Aunt Mindy and family to get his teeth fixed by my brother/dentist, Dr. Jason Smith. Thank goodness for Jason or we'd be paying mega-bucks to fix the 21 cavities Logan has! (He'll probably kill me for telling you.) They will also be attending Shaylin's baptism. Congrats Shay!

So, that leaves half the family home and half the family gone. Jon is going to have to be the fill-in parent for the next few days. Maybe he'll be re-thinking parenthood by the end. LOL! Well, that's it for now. Until next time....

I have been trying my hand at digital scrapbooking and I really enjoy the versatility - but I still enjoy paper scrapbooking too. Anyway, I thought I'd see if I could post one of my layouts....here goes.....this is the first digital layout I made.

First blog post

I decided we needed to keep up with this modern age of technology and start a blog. I'm sure it will take a while for me to get things figured out, but we'll start with this first post and a picture, with hopefully, more to come soon.
